1/17 OWI's for the Week

It has been another busy week for the West Bend Police Department with three domestic abuse calls, 2 disorderly conduct calls and 4 arrests for OWI. Here are a few of the details.
On Monday they had a routine traffic stop at 2:15 AM near 9th and Linden. They stopped a 31 year old Cudahy women and found her to be intoxicated. She was arrested on her first OWI offense and sent to jail for a probation hold. In a search the officers recovered Oxycodone and Subonone. The women did not have valid prescriptions and was then charged with possession of controlled substances.
The very next day at about One AM offices stopped a 34 year old male at Marcia and Creek for a traffic violation. They suspected he had been drinking and subsequently he failed a field sobriety test. He was arrested on his first OWI.
On Wednesday Police stopped a 21 year old male for an equipment violation. The officer detected the smell of Marijuana and found paraphernalia as well as a small amount of the drug in the car. The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle with suspension and passion of marijuana.
Finally on Wednesday at 218 in the afternoon a 34 year old Cedarburg women on her way to see the father of her child on the South East side of West Bend was arrested for her second OWI offense.
