A 55 year old Village of Kewaskum man was involved in a road rage incident with another driver Monday night at around seven thirty. According to the report from Lieutenant Martin Schulteis of the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, the Investigation suggests that the two vehicles were north bound on Highway 45. The Kewaskum man intentionally struck the other vehicle at about 40 mph causing the victim's vehicle to spin around on Highway 45, and then causing the suspect's vehicle to enter the east ditch. There were not any injuries and minor damage was reported to both vehicles. The use of alcohol was suspected from the Kewaskum man. He refused to provide breath or blood sample. Officers were able to obtain a search warrant for his blood. Based on the initial investigation the Kewaskum man was arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail for First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and second offense OWI. The victim is a 28 year old Town of Wayne man. There were several witnesses to the incident and further follow-up is required by sheriff deputies.
