Mayville Engineering Company is planning a major expansion project at five of its plants in Wisconsin, which will result in 100 new manufacturing jobs. Mayville Engineering is an employee owned company based in Dodge County. The company specializes in making parts used to build equipment ranging from large trucks to agricultural equipment to all-terrain vehicles. It does prototyping, production manufacturing, fabricating, tube forming, coating and assembly services in a variety of markets. We’re very excited to see this continued strong growth and to create some excellent job opportunities in our Wisconsin communities,” said Cliff Sanderson, vice president of human resources at MEC. “As a 100% employee-owned company, our folks are vested in the success of the company. It’s a unique place and we’re looking for more great MEC people to join our employee shareholder team. Today many mid size to large manufacturing plants either shut down or force layoffs. This announced expansion with a guarantee of 100 new jobs is a positive mark for the Dodge County company. The company will host a job fair at its Mayville headquarters, 715 South Street on Saturday, Dec. 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to recruit for the numerous skilled manufacturing positions available at their plants in Mayville, Beaver Dam and Waupun.
