2/13 Charter School Student Cited for Disorderly Conduct

A twelve year old boy from West Bend was taken into police custody Tuesday morning following an unruly incident at the Great Expectations Charter School on South Main Street. According to Lieutenant Michael Hartwell from The West Bend Police, officers were called to the school at about 9:45am to help control the 7th grader as he was out of control and had pushed a teacher down to the ground. Police were able to bring the boy under control and arrested him for disorderly conduct and battery. The student was also arrested for a violation of a non-secure custody order as he failed to follow rules and conditions that had been established previously through the Juvenile Justice system.
