A 17-year old from Hartford teenager accused of stabbing his own brother to death is expected to appear in court today for a preliminary hearing. Joseph Langlois was charged with first degree reckless homicide with a Dangerous Weapon in the death of his 20-year-old brother. According to prosecutors, Langlois fatally stabbed his older brother, Jacob Langlois, after the two argued over who owned video games, knives and other items. Jacob was packing up for Army National Guard training in Georgia. He was found dead laying on his back in a large pool of blood on the kitchen floor. The boys’ mother called 9-1-1 and applied pressure to the puncture wound until officials arrived on scene. Joseph reportedly admitted to investigators that he stabbed his brother because he was angry about losing a fight with him.
