West Bend Police handled multiple criminal arrests over the weekend. Lieutenant Michael Hartwell tells WBKV news that officers responded to three calls. Saturday afternoon at three forty five, officers responded to a call of a gas fill drive-off at the Shell South on Paradise Drive. According to the report, A 44 year old West Bend woman pumped $30.00 worth of gas and left the gas station without paying it. Police were able to locate the woman driver, and issued a citation for theft. The bond on the citation was raised to $691.00, when police discovered she has two prior violations within the last year for the same crime. Later Saturday night shortly after ten thirty, the police department received a call regarding a fight in the street on the North West side. The Investigation determined that an 18 year old female, had a party while her mother was gone. The teenager and her 46 year old mother got into a verbal argument which led to a pushing match in the street. During this altercation, an 18 year old West Bend man who was a guest at the party, refused to leave and punched a 43 year old West Bend man in the face. During the follow-up investigation, the 18 year old man came to the Police Department for questioning. While at the Department, it was determined that the 18 year old had been drinking and he had driven himself to the Police Department. The 18 year old man was placed in jail for Disorderly Conduct, Battery and was cited for Absolute Sobriety. The 18 year old female and her 46 Year old mother were both issued citations for Disorderly Conduct.
