Partners of St. Joseph's Hospital Scholarships have been awarded to three Washington County high school seniors. Two Slinger High School seniors Megan Wagner and Zachary Rothenhoefer will receive the $5,000 award to go toward pursuing a degree in the medical field.
Wagner is graduating from Slinger High School with a 4.0 GPA and is ranked first in her class. She will attend the University of Kentucky pursuing her degree and career in Pharmacy. Her class mate Zach Rothenhoefer is graduating from Slinger High School with a 4.0 GPA and is also ranked first in his class. He will attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study medicine. Rothenhoefer participated in the Academic decathlon and is a Science Olympiad. He has received numerous other academic honors throughout his high school career.
The Partner and St. Joseph's Hospital $2,000 Volunteer Scholarship has been awarded to Victoria Schwartz from West Bend East High School. Schwartz will be going to UW-Oshkosh to study nursing. Schwartz has been active in the Volunteer program at Froedtert and the Medical College of Wisconsin St. Joseph's Hospital for four years. She is a member of the National Honor Society, plays on the high school softball team, and is an active volunteer at her church.
