Beginning today, the West Bend Aldi grocery store located at 1114 South Main Street will reopen and once again offer grocery shoppers a smarter alternative. Aldi is known for its premium exclusive brands, and the chain’s ability to offer high-quality grocery items at incredibly low prices. The West Bend store closed for remodeling on April 28. Atty McGrath division vice president for ALDI said “We are pleased to showcase the new look of ALDI with this updated store in West Bend and continue to help customers stretch their dollars." With an additional 1,400 square feet, higher ceilings, improved natural lighting and environmentally friendly building materials such as recycled materials and energy-saving refrigeration and light bulbs, the store will offer customers a simple and easy-to-navigate shopping experience. To celebrate the new West Bend store, ALDI will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9 a.m. this morning, to which the public is invited to attend. Guests are welcome to tour the store, sample ALDI exclusive brand products and shop for their favorite grocery items. Additionally, guests can enter an on-site sweepstakes for a chance to win ALDI gift certificates. The newest location will be open with expanded hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
