While on an unrelated call in progress Saturday morning at six thirty, an officer heard someone yell “HELP! POLICE!”. The officer then observed a vehicle traveling through the parking lot near 2380 West Washington Street at 15-20 mph and a 36 year old homeless female, was on the trunk of the vehicle and subsequently fell off the vehicle, striking her head on the concrete. According to Lieutenant Hartwell from the West Bend Police, after rendering aid, the officer stopped the vehicle which was being operated by a 31 year old homeless female. Investigation determined that the two women had been living together in the hotel and the altercation was a result of an argument surrounding some drug money and the usage of heroin and other drugs. The 31 year old female was placed in jail for OWI-2nd Offense/Causing Injury, 1st Degree Reckless Injury, Bail Jumping, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and several traffic citations. The 36 year old female was taken to St Joseph’s Hospital. Charges were referred to the Washington County District Attorney against her for the Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Bail Jumping.
