8 / 21 29th Annual West Bend Germanfest Happens This Wekend

This weekend for the 29th year in a row, the German rich heritage of West Bend comes to life on the streets of Down Town West Bend with Germanfest.  A crowd favorite at any German festival is traditional German music, and as Peggy Fisher a Germanfest committee member explains the music is literally nonstop with two stages:
A slight deviation from the normal line up happens Saturday night at eight, when country music band Rebel Grace plays the main stage. Fisher says this was done as a financial consideration to aid the festival:
Sprecher beer is once again the prime beer sponsor. Today  Germanfest  features a fish fry by Schwai’s starting at eleven. Saturday the festival hours are eight am until eleven pm, and features an all you can eat strawberry pancake breakfast served until eleven. German Fest wraps up on Sunday from eleven until seven. German fest is located on the corner of Main and Walnut, near Tennies Ace Hardware in Down Town West Bend
