8 / 27 Sunday Death of Dodge County Man Ruled a Homocide

Tuesday afternoon, Dodge County Sheriff Patricia NInnman issued an updated release surrounding the death of a 43 year old man. Ninmann reported that The Dodge County Sheriff's Office is now investigating the death Sunday of Michael Soeller in the Town of Fox Lake as a homicide, and have identified one person of interest. On Sunday officials responded to an apartment building in the Town of Fox Lake for a report of an unexpected death. When they arrived on the scene, officials found 43-year-old Michael Soeller dead. His landlord reported having not seen him for several days and had been concerned since he lived alone. An autopsy was conducted on Soeller on Monday and it was determined Soeller died from loss of blood due to injuries inflicted by an assailant. According to the release, investigators do not believe it was a random act of violence. Investigators have identified one person of interest, a woman, whose name has not been released, who is believed to be one of the last people to see Soeller before his death. Police released a sketch of the woman on Tuesday, as well as security footage of the woman standing in the lobby of a Walmart. They can be found on our website under the local news tab. Anyone with more information about Soeller or the suspect can call the Dodge County Sheriff's Office at (920) 386-3992
