The next meeting of the Kewaskum Village Board is scheduled for tonight. A public hearing is scheduled at the front end of the meeting for the purpose of discussing the issuing of a Liquor License from The Restaurant Group, FMR for The Ironwood Restaurant. The various department heads will give updated reports to the board including Fire Chief Mark Groeschel and Police Chief Thomas Bishop. Jerry Gilles, the Director of Public Works will lead the discussion and possible action on WE Energies gas permits at 109 and 402 Main Street. Gilles will also report on the Sprint tower upgrade. Several items will be re-addressed by the board during old business including: Discussion and possible action on matrix of other communities options for curb and gutter installation. Discussion and possible action on five year road plan, road ratings map and Local Road Improvement Program grant application and another Discussion with possible action on the three year contract from Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP to provide audit services. Items of concern to be addressed in new business includes the discussion and possible action on the recommendation from the Administrative Committee for the proposed project to remove a portion of the parking lot in the front and to the north of the Annex Building and to seal coat the remaining portion of the parking lot. The board will also establish the 2013 Trick or Treat date and time. The board meeting will begin at seven tonight in the Council Room of the Municipal Building at 204 First Street. It is open to Kewaskum residents.
