Earlier this month, workers in Virginia Beach had to rescue a seagull that got hung up on a power line for more than 24 hours.  And the rescue was like something out of an action movie.

Because they used a HELICOPTER, and one of the workers snagged the bird while he was hanging off a small platform connected to the landing gear.  According to the local news, the seagull is currently being nursed back to health.

In real life, it hardly ever works to physically HIT your TV or computer when they're not working.  But it works in movies all the time, usually for comedic effect.

There's a weird new montage online of movie and TV characters doing it, and it's set to music . . . so they rhythmically punch and kick their broken computers, TVs, and other gadgets to the beat of the song.

f you haven't seen it yet, there's a great wedding video on YouTube where the priest stops the ceremony right before the vows . . . to complain about the photographers behind him.  It happened in Woodloch Pines, Pennsylvania, back on the 14th.

He makes a good point about it being a solemn moment, not a photo shoot . . . but it's the WAY he does it.  He sounds really bitchy, and threatens to stop the ceremony if they don't move.  And the expressions on the bride and groom are priceless.

They're just as surprised as everyone else, but apparently the wedding went fine, and wasn't a big deal until the video went viral.  And CNN interviewed the couple at See Cringe-Worthy Wedding Moment.

Some "Wheel of Fortune" fans are outraged, because a contestant on Tuesday night's episode named Paul had a chance to win a MILLION DOLLARS if he could solve the puzzle . . . and only one letter was still hidden.

And he DID come up with the correct answer, which was "Corner Curio Cabinet."  (Pronounced "cure-ee-oh")  But he pronounced the word "curio" as "KER-oh."

Even Pat Sajak seemed surprised, and said the producers would listen to the replay to make sure they didn't cheat him.  But they decided NOT to overturn their decision.

Amazing they cleared the streets for this!!!

Wild Ride in San Francisco

This will fast become a Bay Area favorite to watch as a 652 hp Ford Focus races, spins and jumps through some of San Francisco's toughest streets in and out of street cars and ends up on a large barge in the Bay going under the Bridge. It's a Ford promo driven by one of the best drivers ever for this type of racing. You will NOT believe what this guy is capable of.  You will recognize the landmarks as he zips by, spinning circles and getting great "air" over the steep hills of the city. Just a real fun video to watch.

Check out a new YouTube video that claims to show the new WORLD RECORD for highest basketball trick shot.  The guys who did it were at the top of a tower in Holland about 320 feet up, and they finally made it on their 62nd try.

Back in July, there was a video out of China of a mudslide nailing a car, and all four passengers somehow survived.  Now there's an equally impressive one from Taiwan making the rounds, where a car almost gets crushed by a huge BOULDER.
