Thanks to Crazy Russian Hacker we now have a new way of making popcorn, in a beer can. Besides the fact that the popcorn actually pops, it also goes straight into your plate. The guy is a genius!
I've seen other YouTube videos
with improvised ways of cooking stuff, especially college students home-made videos that are usually a disaster, but not like this. This one works and it's actually not a hazard to the ones trying it.
I would agree with the Russian fellow when he says “this machine is amazing” but it is actually not a machine, it is a beer can with a hole in it that pops popcorn when heated. I don't know about other viewers, but I am really curious to try this at home.

There's a guy named Andrew Hale who does internet pranks and weird video experiments. His latest one is kind of holiday-themed . . . he secretly paid for people's groceries right before they checked out, then filmed their reactions.
He doesn't reveal that it was him, and it's definitely interesting to see people become emotional when they get a nice surprise . . .
But as one commenter pointed out: Why pay for people who were ALREADY prepared to buy the stuff? Like, wouldn't it be better to buy groceries for people who straight-up couldn't afford them? Still . . . it's nice to see a good-natured prank once in a while.

Earlier this year, a boxer puppy named Duncan was born in the Seattle area with deformed back legs. There was no way to fix it, so when he was 12 weeks old, both of his back legs were amputated.
Duncan's owners have a custom WHEELCHAIR for him . . . but it seems that he doesn't need it. Because in the month that's passed since his surgery, he's learned to run on JUST his two front legs.
Now, he runs around on his two legs . . . going just as fast as a dog with all four legs.
A woman named Amanda Giese adopted him. She says people protested her having his legs removed . . . and told her she should just PUT HIM DOWN. Instead, she went through with the surgery . . . and now Duncan will live a long, full life.
Amanda says, quote, "Duncan is my hero . . . he doesn't let his unique differences slow him down and he doesn't know he is any different."

This is one of the most lame reports ever. "How do you weather this rain?"..."I just cover my head"...DUH!!!!!
It rained in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, and one news report basically made it sound like the END OF DAYS.
A reporter for NBC 4 was out on the streets, and talked about how there was some heavy drizzling and even some WIND . . . then noted that people were walking FASTER than normal.
And the segment also included first-hand accounts from people who BRAVED the storm . . . like one guy who explained that his girlfriend forgot her umbrella, and had to go BACK inside to get it.
(NBCLosAngeles.com has the video. Search for "Winter Weather Arrives in SoCal." The interviews start at 1:12.)

An idiot Bills fan was sliding down a railing on the 300 level during the game between Buffalo and the Jets Sun Nov 17th . . . and FELL.
The guy's name is Robert Hopkins. And even though he managed not to DIE in the fall, it was still probably one of the worst decisions he's ever made . . .
The Buffalo Bills banned him from the stadium for life, and now the marketing company where he worked as a digital art director has FIRED HIM.
The person he landed on was hospitalized with head and neck injuries, but fortunately they weren't paralyzed, and they've been released from the hospital.
But . . . it looks like Robert could be facing criminal charges of third-degree assault and reckless endangerment. Neither of those require intent . . . just negligence. And he was CLEARLY negligent.
It happened right as the second quarter began, and you could even see the guy lose his balance and fall onscreen. He landed on another fan on the 200 level. Both of them were taken to the hospital . . . there's no word on their condition yet.

f you haven't seen it yet, a new Kmart ad is creating a controversy because some people . . . including
a group called One Million Moms . . . say it's too SEXUAL.
It's six guys in boxer shorts, moving their hips while "Jingle Bells" plays on hand-bells. So it looks like whatever the guys are swinging UNDERNEATH their boxers is what's making the noise.
I say...anyone who finds this offensive better have a good reason. What about you?

On November 10th, a race car driver named Brian Gillespie was doing 185 miles an hour at a meet in the Mojave Desert near Los Angeles, lost control, and flipped about a DOZEN TIMES.
But he somehow survived with only a collapsed lung. Now the video is up on YouTube.Brian Gillespie crashes his Hasport Hondata Insight at El Mirage dry lakes meet Nov 10th, 2013. The safety equipment worked as designed, and he escaped with relatively minor injuries. The car was the season's points champion, and was running between 180-190mph when it turned in.
