The Oscars Were the Most-Watched Show Last Week . . . And "The Voice" and "The B

"The 86th Academy Awards" got 43.7 million viewers.  That was the highest-rated Oscars in 10 years.

 

 

Meanwhile, the 6th season premiere of NBC's "The Voice" returned to decent numbers, with 15.9 million tuning in on Monday.  That dropped to 13 million for  Tuesday's episode. 

 

 

And the return of "The Blacklist" benefited from "The Voice" lead-in with 11.2 million viewers.  Here are last week's top ten shows:

 

 

1.  "The 86th Academy Awards", ABC, 43.7 million viewers.

 

2.  "Oscars Red Carpet Live", ABC, averaged   million viewers.

 

3.  "Big Bang Theory", CBS, 17.7 million viewers.

 

4.  "NCIS", CBS, 17 million viewers.

 

5.  Monday's season premiere of "The Voice", NBC, 15.9 million viewers.

 

6.  "NCIS: Los Angeles", CBS, 13.2 million viewers

 

7.  Tuesday's episode of "The Voice", NBC, 13 million viewers

 

8.  "The Walking Dead", AMC, 12.6 million viewers

 

9.  "Blue Bloods", CBS, 12 million viewers.

 

10.  "The Blacklist", NBC, 11.2 million viewers.

 

 

The 28th season premiere of "Survivor: Cagayan" got 9.4 million viewers.  And ABC's new drama "Mind Games" attracted 3.6 million.
