Hank is being listed as recovering Tuesday after having surgery.
Tyler Barnes, Milwaukee Brewers vice president of communications, said in an email Tuesday that Hank is on "dog bed rest" for the time being after being neutered.OUCH!!!
"Given the vet's recommendation, Hank has been placed on the 15-day disabled list," Barnes said. "A tough break after the thrill of his first opening day."
Hank, the stray that wandered into the Brewers' spring training camp in February and was later adopted by the family of a Brewers official, made his Miller Park debut at opening day Monday, taking a walk on the field with mascot Bernie Brewer.
While Hank was convalescing Tuesday, ABC had planned to air a report on the ballpark pup on "World News Tonight."
