Bob's Videos

Hi. Bob here. I scour the internet for daily videos for you. When I find them, I post them here for you to check out, share and enjoy!

A guy named Bobby Burns has a YouTube channel where he posts movie reviews and new versions of trailers he re-cuts. The trailer he did for "Frozen" if it was a horror movie got more than 11 million hits last year.

And his newest one is pretty good too. He took audio from the "Batman vs. Superman" trailer . . . and did a retro version using footage of Adam West and Christopher Reeve.

DAVID HASSELHOFF just released a video called "True Survivor", and it might just be the most '80s thing EVER. Which isn't too surprising, because the song is from the soundtrack to a movie called "Kung Fury", which is a parody of '80s Kung Fu flicks.

The video includes Ancient-looking computers, bad, pre-CGI effects, mullets, fog machines, a keytar, groovy "Double Dragon"-style headbands, and a Nintendo Power Glove . . .

Not to mention Hitler, a T-Rex, and Thor . . . the Norse god, not the comic book character. But that's just because the hero in the movie does some time traveling, and he has to fight Hitler.

The song itself is so cheesy, I'm tempted to travel back in time just to insert it into the training montage of a "Rocky" sequel.

Bob says check out the movie trailer too. Gotta be a tongue-in-cheek direct to video cheese piece.

If you're like me, you're wondering what could happen if someone with a more devious mind tried this with much worse intentions.......A 61-year-old mailman from Florida landed on the lawn of the U.S. Capitol in a gyrocopter yesterday, which is like a mini helicopter. He was protesting campaign finance laws, and brought hundreds of letters from people who want them reformed.

At least one person got video of it. And you can tell she thought it was a terrorist attack, because right when he flies by, she says, "this is NOT good." He immediately surrendered to police though.

It turns out he told the "Tampa Bay Times" about it beforehand, and they posted an interview with him on Tuesday. He was arrested, but it's not clear what he's charged with yet. (Check out the full 4-minute interview and flight preparation here.)

'I'll be back.' When Arnold Schwarzenegger delivered that iconic line in the first Terminator sequel during the Bush I years, little did he know it would mean in 2015. But here we are with the second trailer for Paramount and Skydance's summer tentpole Terminator Genisys, with the first having hit the field during the Super Bowl. The machines have sent a Terminator back in time to before the war to kill Sarah Connor (if you don't know who she is, we're surprised you're reading this). Her son John (Jason Clarke) sends Sgt. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) back to 1984 to protect her, and the rest of humanity, and keep the future intact. When Reese arrives, he meets the bad-guy-broke-good Terminator/Guardian (Schwarzenegger) and learns that they all have been preparing for his arrival. Then John Connor shows up in that past, much to Mom's delight — but there's a little something different about Johnny Boy.

There are huge set pieces, ace molten-metal FX and even a few of the signature Ahneld one-liners that padded the Judgment Day enjoyment level. A young Mr. Olympia also makes an appearance. Emilia Clarke plays Sarah, and the cast also includes newly minted Oscar winner J.K. Simmons. Alan Taylor directed from a script by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. The film bombards a megaplex near you on July 1.

Marvel has released a new trailer for the forthcoming Ant-Man. Direct by Peyton Reed and starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas, the film is due out July 17th. This latest preview provides our first real look at some of the film's humor and action pieces, including baddie Yellowjacket and a fight on top of a Thomas the Tank Engine play-set.

The official synopsis for Ant-Man reads, 'Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang (Rudd) must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas), protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats.'

Joining Rudd and Douglas are Corey Stoll as the villainous Darren Cross/Yellowjacket and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, Pym's daughter with Janet van Dyne (aka The Wasp in the comic books). Ant-Man also features Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Judy Greer, Tip "T.I" Harris, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, and Jordi Mollà.

OK...I gotta admit. This looks like Fun with a capital F!!!!

A guy named Devin Graham runs a YouTube channel called Devin Supertramp . . . he has three million followers, and mainly posts extreme sports videos.

His newest one is called "Indiana Jones in Real Life", because he had a bunch of friends run down a hill and try to outrun a Zorb . . . those big plastic balls you get inside and ride around in.

Obviously it's a reference to the scene in "Raiders of the Lost Ark", where Harrison Ford has to outrun the huge boulder.

Except they DON'T outrun it . . . it mows them all down. But it's filled with air, so no one gets hurt.

Here's something for any retro gamers out there. Someone combined "Pac-Man", "Pong", and "Space Invaders" into one video game that you can download and play on your computer for free.

It's the "Pac-Man" board with "Pong" paddles on either side of it . . . you use them to bounce Pac-Man back into the board when he flies out. They also shoot bullets at aliens that drop down. Donkey Kong shows up at one point too for some reason.

If you thought your kids were traumatized by a creepy looking Easter bunny costume on Sunday, at least they won't always associate Easter with THIS.

A guy named Alexandre Hermenier was driving with his wife Karine and their two kids in St. Jerome, Canada on Sunday . . . and around 7:00 P.M. a 37-year-old guy named Manuel Delisle cut them off.

Alexandre started following him, which was a bad idea. But Manuel's reaction to it was way worse.

They both eventually stopped . . . Manuel got out of his car . . . ran up to the family's car . . . and started threatening them with a running CHAINSAW.

Karine recorded him on her phone, and you can hear the kids screaming in the background while Manuel runs the chainsaw and yells at them . . . you can see it on YouTube by searching "Quebec chainsaw."

Karine also called the cops, and Manuel was arrested for assault with a weapon.

If you're scared of heights, still watch this because it's pretty amazing.

Climbers Laurene Sibue and Xavier Gaboriaud can't stick to mountains and hiking like the rest of us. Instead, they put on some GoPros and climbed up a massive, almost-completely vertical monolith that looks like it just sprang up out of the forest.

It's called the "Monolithe de Sardières" and it is a bear of a climb. Oh, did we mention that it's also 93 meters (roughly 305 feet) tall? That's about 28 stories, for you non-standard folks.
