A guy from Fairbanks, Alaska named Ed Davis was out of town for work last month when his 11-year-old black lab, Madera, ran away from home.

He didn't have much hope of finding her, because she's completely blind, and the temperature was getting down to NEGATIVE FORTY at night.

So when he came home two weeks later, he was just hoping to find her body and bury her. He didn't have any luck, so he offered a $100 reward to anyone who COULD find her.

Then a guy who was out walking HIS dog ended up finding Madera ALIVE, lying under a tree about half-a-mile from Ed's house.

It's not clear how she survived the cold, and she'd lost about 14 pounds. But she's back home now, and she's okay.

The guy who found her refused to accept the reward money, and asked Ed to donate it to a local animal shelter instead . . . and he was so impressed that he upped the donation to 250 bucks.

Shootout at The Range Of Richfield co-sponsored by The Beef Jerky Outlet saw Bob take on Buzz Country 92.5 Morning Show host Bill Mitchell. After a round of practice shots, Bob confidently took the lead with the AR-15 rifle. Maybe TOO confident, Bob lost the next two matches using the handguns. Oh, well. At least there was a participation ribbon! Many thanks to the Range Of Richfield and The Beff Jerky Outlet, right by the Hwy 45/41 split across from Cabela's
