UW-Washington County will be offering the Amazing Robotics Challenge for students in grades 4 through 8 this fall, while adults will have an opportunity to learn how to use their new ipad. Both programs are offered through the Continuing Education department. The Robotics Challenge is a great opportunity for students to learn about electronics, physics, computer programming. In addition, they will be able to apply some of the principles they have learned in math class to build a robot. Classes meet on Saturday mornings for six weeks starting October 12th. Tuition is one hundred twelve dollars. For adults, introductory computer courses covering the basic of using that new ipad as well as basic courses on Windows and Microsoft Office are available. Classes will be held on Monday and Tuesday evenings starting October eighth. Tuition fees vary depending on the course.
