10/4 The Sinister Dog Food Truck Closes

The Sinister Dog food truck which made a popular name for itself and developed a very loyal following in West Bend and other surrounding areas announced on Thursday that they have decided to close. WBKV News attempted to reach Sinister Dog owner Liz Schlechta by phone, but our attempts were not successful.  A prepared statement from their Facebook page read that after much deliberation, we have decided to close The Sinister Dog. We want to thank everyone that tried our food and supported us along the way. The Sinister Dog was a great business that grew quickly for us. The business demanded more of our time and greatly decreased the time we were able to spend with our four children and families due to most of the profitable events falling on weekends and evenings. The letter went on to say that they were selling both the food trailer and the custom food truck along with all the equipment. It also emphasized that the Sinister Dog name and the menu were not for sale and hinted at the possibility of a Sinister Dog restaurant in the future.
