10/4 Spirit Day and Parade Wrap Up Homecoming Week

Homecoming week festivities kick into high gear today at the West Bend High Schools with Spirit Day. Students are encouraged to wear
their school colors with team jerseys, t-shirts and various types of homemade clothing. Classes will be dismissed at 1:25 p.m. with a pep rally set to get under way at 1:45 p.m. East High School will hold its pep rally in the high school auditorium, while West High School’s rally will be in the field house. At 4 p.m. a parade will get under way. It starts at Lincoln Drive and Decorah Road then travels east on Decorah Road and ends near the tennis courts at the high school. Look for the WBKV van in the parade. The pre–game tailgate party will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m., also near the high school tennis courts. The Booster Club will have hamburgers, brats and hot dogs cooked on grills. Several fun and exciting activities are planned to compliment the food and beverages. The homecoming game, East vs. West, kicks off at 7 p.m. If you can’t make it to the game, you can hear all the action on WBKV starting with our special pre-game show featuring both coaches starting at six thirty. A dance at 8 p.m. Saturday night  in the field house with  a special  theme rounds out  the week.
