Dodge County Sheriff Pat Ninmann is now back at her office following a successful weeklong trip to Aurora Colorado where she joined 26 other sheriff’s from across the country in attending the National Sheriffs Institute. The NSI is the only national executive development program designed for sheriffs. Sheriff Pat Ninmann was trained in contemporary challenges facing America’s sheriffs, exploring the role of the local sheriff in providing effective leadership in public safety, criminal justice policy, community relations, and organizational effectiveness and efficiency. There is no cost for the program which is co-sponsored by the National Institute of Corrections (NIC) and the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA). Fred G. Wilson of the National Sheriffs Association said in a graduation statement that Sheriff Ninmann is a leader with vision for the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office. Ninmann is the first sheriff of Dodge County to graduate from the National Sheriffs Institute.
