10/9 Man Arrested for Impersonating an Officer

A thirty one year old man from Sheboygan learned the hard way that making nuisance phone calls to people is not tolerated. Lieutenant Michael Hartwell of the West Bend Police reports officers responded to a home on the northwest side Saturday night at about eleven fifty on a report of nuisance phone calls. The resident told officers that a man had called several times asking to speak with Danielle. Each time they told him there was no one by that name. He called again while police were there and officers spoke to him and said not to call anymore. They traced his call and issued him a ticket for disorderly conduct. A few minutes later he called again, this time claiming to be an officer with Sheboygan Police. West Bend Police then issued a felony arrest for him with Sheboygan police. He was picked up by police and transported to West Bend where he now faces charges of Disorderly conduct, stalking and impersonating an officer.
