10/30 West Bend School Board Reports Good Financial Numbers

It was a very productive meeting for members of the West Bend School Board on Monday night. Specifically good news for property owners in the district is one of the results as according to west Bend School Superintendent Ted Neitzke the tax levy for next year will be lower. The other bit of good financial news to come from the meeting as Neitzke reports is the price quote for the Silver Brook Middle School and Green Tree Elementary construction projects construction projects will be completed on time and under budget. Neitzke said that looking to the future in an effort to continue saving money for tax payers , the board approved a resolution that requests Senator Glenn Grothman, and Representative Pat Strachota, to draft and sponsor legislation that would allow school districts to create trusts without being penalized under the state school funding formula.
