11/8 Sever Car Accident Ties Up Traffic on Highway 60

We have an update to the report of the one car vehicle accident that we told you about earlier today.  According to Officer Cassey O’ Hagen from the Slinger Police Department, the crash happened at about six ten this morning. A car containing a driver with four passengers was exiting Highway 41 North onto the Highway 60 West Bound ramp, when the driver lost control on the icy overpass and swerved. When the car reached clean pavement, it rolled onto its side and rested on its roof.  Four adults and a two year child were inside. Three adults and the child were able to escape, however a 46 year old female passenger remained trapped in the front right side seat. Slinger Fire Department needed to use crash jaws to extricate the woman from the car. She was transported by LifeStar Ambulance to Froedert Hospital to be treated for non- life threatening injuries. She did sustain a broken leg and several facial lacerations. Slinger Police have not confirmed if any traffic citations will be issued.
