West Bend School Board member Todd Miller possibly surprised many people Monday night at the school board meeting when he announced that after six and half years he has decided to resign his position. Miller leaves behind a very positive tenure which saw him help take the board and the school district to a new level. The main reason for his resignation is because Miller has accepted a job in River Hills and will be moving there. His resignation leaves a vacancy on the School Board. His seat is up for election in April. According to School Superintendent Ted Neitzke the School Board will discuss whether or not to appoint someone to fill out the remainder of Miller’s term at its next meeting January 13th , with a final decision being made at the January 27 meeting.
