12/11 Student Council Hopes to Break Blood Drive Record Today

By giving blood today at the West Bend high schools, you can help break a state record for participants at a school-sponsored blood drive. The school’s 2013 blood drive, “Platelet Playoffs,” runs today from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at the field house, 1305 East Decorah Road. Call in or an appointment at 623-8799, or just walk-in, register and make a donation. Everyone who attempts to donate blood will be entered into a raffle to win gift cards. The public is encouraged to participate. More than 500 students have signed up to donate with the goal being 700. Free food and refreshments will be provided. The blood drive is being presented by the West Bend High School Student Council and the Blood Center of Wisconsin.
