The next meeting for the Slinger Village Board will be held tonight. A few items at the front end of the agenda include November committee reports from the police, village building inspector and an update on the Mid Moraine legislative from village trustee Dean Otte. At the time of the agenda publishing there was not any old business to be brought up for discussion. However, there will be numerous topics to be addressed under new business including a resolution authorizing borrowing from WPPI Energy. The board will review and possibly act on issuing a fireworks permit to Little Switzerland Ski Hill for New Year’s Eve. Also they will consider a computer softwear and services contract with Civic Systems. Police Chief Dean Schmidt will initiate the topic for a police lieutenant job description. The board will also hear and possibly act on several ordinances. The meeting is open to any resident from the Village of Slinger. It starts at six pm at the Slinger Municipal Building.
