The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is reminding area motorists going to Lambeau Field for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh that you should be prepared to experience heavier than usual traffic due to the combination of winter road conditions and the continued closure of the Leo Frigo Bridge along with construction along portions of Highway 41 North and Highway 29. Approximately 30,000 vehicles travel across the Leo Frigo Bridge on a Packer home game. This traffic will be diverted onto other city streets. All construction on 41 will cease on game day, although barrier walls and orange barrels will still be out and effect lane travel. Wis Dot is recommending that motorists allow themselves additional time to reach their ultimate destination of Lambeau Field on Sunday.
