1/20 Washington House Pub License Suspension Decision Tonight

The Owner of the Washington House Pub, Edward Daniel said he is working with the West Bend PD to resolve many of the problems he is facing since he purchased the property in 2012. In just two short years he has renovated the historic building to maintain its vintage look, and brought it up to code by installing a new kitchen.
The West Bend Common Council will decide the fate of the historic landmark tonight at their monthly meeting. At 6:25 the West Bend Licensing Board will make its first recommendation and the Common Council will discuss and vote on it later in the evening.
They are facing many issues like customers being over served, people leaving intoxicated and getting behind the wheel of a car, as well as several other alcohol related offenses, the Washington House Pub, formerly Games in downtown West Bend.
The Washington house is listed as a Washington County landmark that in its history replaced a building that was built originally in 1852 then destroyed by fire in 1864. It has over 23,000 square feet of space that includes, 13 apartments above the bar for rent.
