Cody Cousins, the Purdue University student accused of killing Andrew Boldt of West Bend, made his initial court appearance on Thursday and was formally charged with murder. According to new court documents, Boldt suffered both gunshot and stab wounds. According to the police report, officers found Boldt inside room 067 in the electrical engineering building on campus. Police located a handgun on the floor along with several shell casings. Cousins was found outside the building on the ground. He had his hands behind his head with blood on his hands and clothes. Multiple witnesses identified Cousins as the person who stabbed and shot Boldt, who was working as a teaching assistant in the lab. Police are still searching for a motive to the murder. Meanwhile back here in West Bend, funeral arrangements for Andrew Boldt have now been confirmed. Visitation for Andrew Boldt will be from three until six pm Tuesday, January 28th at Saint Frances Cabrini Church. A funeral mass will follow at 7 p.m.
