A high speed police chase in Sheboygan County Wednesday night came to a tragic ending when the fleeing vehicle crashed, killing the driver from Germantown. The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Department said the incident began shortly after 7 o'clock when deputies received a report of an erratic driver who turned out to be wanted on a misdemeanor warrant. Deputies attempted to stop that vehicle on Foster Road in the Town of Holland. The vehicle attempted to elude Deputies. The vehicle was pursued reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph. The pursuit came to an end when the vehicle lost control, crashing into a utility pole just east of Adell. The driver, a 49 year old man from Germantown was ejected and died as a result of injuries caused from his crash. The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
