The State Patrol has released the name of the 49-year-old Germantown man who was killed while trying to flee from Sheboygan County Sheriff’s deputies Wednesday night. State Patrol officers say Steven Lutz was driving erratically when deputies tried to pull him over in the town of Holland. They found out Lutz was also wanted on a misdemeanor warrant. Rather than pull over Lutz chose to flee and the pursuit exceeded speeds of 100 miles per hour. The chase ended after he hit a utility pole just East of Adell and was ejected from the vehicle suffering injuries that led to his death.
