A 28-year-old West Bend man has been charged with 11 felony counts of possession of child pornography. According to the criminal complaint, special agents with the Division of Criminal Investigation and West Bend police executed a search warrant January 24 at the home of Sean Benson. An analyst from the Division of Criminal Investigation found a cellphone that belonged to Benson with ten images and video of child pornography. Upon questioning, Benson admitted to viewing and downloading child pornography. On Wednesday, Benson made his initial appearance before Washington County Circuit Judge James Pouros. Judge Pouros set a $1,000 cash bond. As a condition of his bond, Benson can’t have any computers or a cellphone and is banned from using any computers or any electronic device with access to the Internet. His next court appearance is at 1:30 p.m. February 24.
