The next meeting of The Kewaskum Village Board will be tonight at seven pm. The various department heads will give updated reports including Fire Chief Mark Groeschel and Police Chief Thomas Bishop. DPW Coordinator Chad Cook will update the board on his department’s recent activities, along with a report on the press release he issued earlier this month regarding frozen water service. Also scheduled to give reports are Village Administrator Matt Heiser; Zoning Administrator Chad Cook and clerk / Deputy Treasurer Stephanie Justman. As of February 14th there was not any old business to be brought to the board tonight. In new business, the board will discuss and possibly act on issuing a liquor license for the Ironwood restaurant for the period of February 18th to June 30th. On a separate item, the board will consider a bartenders license for a woman resident who works at the J-Stop in Kewaskum.The board meeting will be in the Council Room of the Municipal Building at 204 First Street. It is open to Kewaskum residents.
