2/18 Police Association Appoints Jed Dolnick as New President

Jackson Police Department Chief Jed Dolnick is the new president of the Wisconsin Chiefs of Police Association. Dolnick, who has been with WCPA since 2001, was appointed to the board of directors in 2008. He will replace WCPA President Steve Riffel, who is Sheboygan Falls police chief. Riffel got his start working with the first K-9 Unit in West Bend in the 1990s. The WCPA announcement was made last weekend at the annual convention in the Wisconsin Dells. Dolnick has been village of Jackson police chief since 2001 and prior to that spent 24 years with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
