2/21 Police Make Multiple Arrests on Stalking; Battery and Retail Theft

West Bend Police were kept busy with multiple criminal arrests on Tuesday  involving a variety of offenses. According to Lieutenant Michael Hartwell the first case was reported just after two pm. A 22 year old man was sending threatening text messages to his former girlfriend. Police went to his home on the south east side of town.  While questioning the man and taking him into custody, he was found to be in possession of a knife and a marijuana pipe. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct ; Stalking ; Carrying a Concealed Weapon and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. About ninety minutes later at three thirty, police answered a call for a domestic dispute on the North West side of town. A 26 year old man was involved in a heated argument with his former girlfriend.  The altercation turned physical when the woman tried to call the police. Police arrived and arrested the man for Disorderly Conduct, Battery, Stalking, and a Probation Hold. The final arrest report from Wednesday took place at the Walmart store on Paradise Drive at about eight thirty. A 17 year old teenage female from West Bend, and a 33 year old Pewaukee man male, attempted to steal approximately $300 worth of merchandise. A short investigation led police to the teen’s home. The man was placed in jail for Retail Theft, 3 counts of Felony Bail Jumping and 3 counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.  The 17 year old girl was cited for Retail Theft.
