2/25 Police Make Arrests for Possession of Drugs and Drug Paraphernalia

West Bend Police found themselves busy with a series of drug arrests over the weekend. According to Lieutenant Michael Hartwell, police executed two arrests within several minutes of each other. The first took place at 12:23 am Saturday morning on the North East Side of town. An officer observed an occupied vehicle in a parking lot and stopped to check on the person.  The officer noticed a smoking pipe in the vehicle and the driver had 4.5 grams of marijuana in his possession.  The man was cited for Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Less than five minutes later at 12:26 am the police department received a call concerning a male subject passed out in a vehicle in the Walmart parking lot. A search of the vehicle by officers discovered heroin, marijuana and various drug paraphernalia.  The man was placed in jail for Possession of Heroin, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
