A Washington County Sheriff Deputy assisted an officer from Kewaskum early Thursday morning in the arrest of two women. According to the report from Lieutenant Martin SCHUL-TISE of the sheriff’s department, the deputy assisted a Kewaskum Officer with a traffic stop. A Vehicle was called in shortly after one thirty am reporting an erratic driver on US 45. The officer’s stopped the vehicle and during their investigation, they discovered one occupant had a warrant. Both the passenger and driver became uncooperative and the driver refused to exit vehicle. She had to physically be removed and at that time the passenger also became unruly. The Deputy arrested female passenger who was a 41 year old City of Milwaukee female on a warrant through the West Allis Police Department. She was transported to the county jail where the deputy was assisted by the jail staff with getting her inside. The driver, a 25 year old City of West Bend woman, was arrested by Kewaskum Police and charged with a first offense OWI plus obstructing and resisting.
