For the third time in less than a month a bomb scare happened at Badger Middle School. This one just two days before a historic visit to the school by Governor Walker. According to the press release issued by Police Chief Ken Moyler, On Tuesday students found two threats written on school property. The students immediately reported these threats to staff. Administrators from Badger School and West Bend Police worked together and quickly identified the suspect in both these offenses. The suspect was an 11 year old, sixth grade male student. His name is being withheld in coherence with Juvenile laws. He was taken into custody at the school and referred to juvenile authorities. Charges of Disorderly conduct and graffiti on school property have been filoed. The young boy had no previous contacts with police. Chief Moyler thanks the students at Badger Middle School that observed and quickly reported their concerns to the staff and police. Moyler said their actions greatly assisted in identifying the suspect and ensuring that everyone at the school was safe.
