Wildlife educators at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center are ready to get a jump start into spring this weekend and will be presenting a Spring Thaw Walk tomorrow afternoon from one until two thirty. No registration is required and the program is free. All ages are welcome. Liz Herzmann, Horicon wildlife educator says as the weather gets warmer and the landscape greener, the marsh begins to thaw and we start to see the marsh inhabitants that stayed the winter and the arrivals of those that moved to warmer climates during the cold months. It’s a time of renewal and rejuvenation and has something new to see almost every day.”The Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center is located between the towns of Horicon and Mayville on Highway 28.
