Monday night at eleven forty five pm, a Washington County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop along the highway 41 / 167 intersection. The deputy observed the vehicle being driven by a female cross the center line. Upon initial questioning, she was determined to be partially impaired. The 19 year old female from Neenah verbally identified herself. Through further questioning, the deputy learned that she was using her sister’s information. The deputy also noticed track marks on her arm. He then requested the assistance of a K9 officer. The K9 deputy ran around the vehicle and issued an alert. Some heroin related items were found. The young woman was taken into custody and charged for obstructing justice and a probation hold. After arriving at the jail she admits to jailers she has a needle secreted in her pants. A strip search is conducted and an additional needle as well as 4 baggies with 28 bindles of heroin is located in a body cavity. Total weight on the heroin was about point 7 grams. She was taken to the hospital for medical clearance that there were not any other items secreted. An additional possession with intent to deliver heroin charge was added.
