Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were involved in a chase pursuit Thursday afternoon following a two car crash. According to the report from Sergeant Hennes of the Sheriff’s Department, officers responded to the scene of a two vehicle crash at about three ten along Pioneer Road in the Village of Richfield. Before they could arrive at the scene,  witnesses at the site phoned the dispatch center indicating one of the cars involved in the crash was fleeing from the scene. The driver was arrested and remains in custody at the Washington Co. Jail. Charges will be referred to the D.A.’s office.
