Slick surfaces from rain that changed over to snow Monday night led to weather-related accidents around South Eastern Wisconsin. An early morning check-in with the Washington County Sheriff’s Department, has just one report of a weather related accident. According to a report provided by Lieutenant Martin Schulteiss, early this morning at about one fifteen am a semi trailer truck apparently hit a slick spot in the road at Highway 41 just north of Pioneer Road, and slid off the road into a ditch. The truck was buried in the mud. Two tow trucks were needed to pull it out and both southbound lanes had to be closed for a short period of time. Deputy Squads were on the scene for about 3 hours.
