5/1 Location of Services Changed for Joshua and Monica Griebel

The location has been changed for today’s funeral services for the Washington County couple killed in a car crash last week, leaving behind their five children. Originally scheduled to be held at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home on Menomonee Avenue in Menomonee Falls, the joint services with visitation for Joshua and Monica Griebel are now set to be held from 4 until 7:30 p.m. today at CrossWay Church, on Pilgrim Road, in Germantown. A memorial service for close family and friends begins at 8 p.m. The couple died early Friday on Highway 164 just north of Highway Q in Richfield, not far from their home. The couple's car was northbound when it crossed the center line, entered a ditch, hit a culvert, went airborne and hit a utility pole before landing upside down.  37 year old Joshua Griebel, was thrown from the vehicle, and his  38 year old wife Monica, was pinned inside. Both were dead at the scene. Their children range in age from 16 months to 13 years. Memorial funds have been set up for the children. A benefit fundraiser will also take place May 31st  for the children at  the Sterling Chalet, on Highway 175 in Hubertus.
