6/4 Police Kept Busy with Several Minor Crimes

West Bend Police found themselves dealing with several minor criminal cases on Monday. The day's events started at two thirty on the south west side of town. An 86 year old West Bend woman reported that her 60 year old female caregiver from Theresa, stole a $45 gift card from her purse. Police came to the home and questioned the woman, who admitted to taking the gift card. She was cited for Theft and released. About an hour later, officers answered a call on the south east side of town for a domestic disturbance. According to the report from Lieutenant Hartwell, a 21 year old  West Bend man, and a 24 year old  West Bend, woman  were involved in an intense argument during which the man damaged the woman's cell phone. When police arrived at the home and spoke with the two people, the man was taken into custody on charges of Criminal Damage to Property and Bail Jumping.
