A 41 year old West Bend woman was arrested and placed in jail for Child Neglect on Wednesday evening. According to the report from Lieutenant Michael Hartwell, officers were sent to her home on the north east side of town. Upon arriving, they found her passed out in a hallway of the apartment building. The woman was found to be intoxicated after she registered a PBT of point 38. The investigation determined that she left her 5 year old son at home alone to go out drinking. Also from late last week, West Bend police are reporting that Thursday night just after ten pm, a 43 year old St Germain man was arrested and placed in jail for Disorderly Conduct, after calling and sending text messages threatening to cause harm to his sister in West Bend. The 43 year old man was located at his home in St Germain by the Vilas County Sheriff’s Office and taken into custody. West Bend Police then transported the man from Vilas County to the Washington County Jail where he was charged with disorderly conduct.
