6/10 Kewaskum Police Department Executes Heroin Drug Bust

On Saturday June 7th,  the Kewaskum Police Department executed a search warrant at an apartment on Courtney Lane in the Village of Kewaskum. According to Kewaskum Chief of Police Thomas Bishop, when officers arrived at the apartment they numerous items related to heroin use; including used syringes, cooking tins, alcohol prep pads, and tourniquets. Many of these items also contained residue believed to be heroin. These items will be sent to the State Crime Lab for testing. Two suspects, a 19 year old Kewaskum male and 20 year old Kewaskum female, were arrested and booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of Possession of Heroin and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The suspects were scheduled to make an initial court appearance on Monday afternoon.
