Early last week Regal Ware was awarded low-interest loans from both Washington County and the City of West Bend for investment in their five million dollar project to invest in new, highly technical equipment for their West Bend manufacturing facility. Fresh on the heels of that announcement, Regal Ware in Kewaskum announced Friday afternoon the sale of its home drinking water purification business unit to The Legacy Companies of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Legacy Companies designs, manufactures and markets food service equipment, home appliances and kitchen tools and accessories. According to Jeff Reigle, President & CEO, the sale supports long-term growth initiatives being put in place by Regal Ware. Riegel said that no jobs will be lost as a result of the sale. Employees will be redeployed into other positions within the company.
