In addition to the city of West Bend, several other communities in Washington County will be celebrating the Fourth of July tomorrow. Hartford will have a parade starting at two pm. It will travel along North Main Street and end at Veterans Park. The Hartford Girl Scouts will walk the parade route collecting donations for the Hartford food pantry. After the parade, there will be a full day of entertainment, family games and refreshments at the park. Fireworks will be at dusk and feature a 850 shell finale. In Germantown, the Kiwanis Club handles all the day’s festivities. The parade starts at noon on Pilgrim Road and Francese Road and continues to Fireman’s Park. Shopping carts will be pushed in the parade to collect food and children’s clothing for the St. Boniface Food Pantry. At Fireman’s Park, there will be family activities all afternoon featuring kid’s games along with music, food and beverages. Bartolatta Fireworks will be shot off at dusk. In our next report, we’ll have details on celebrations in Kewaskum and other communities.
